How nice it is to see David Fernàndez on TV and in the newspapers speaking for all those supporters of CUP – the party that entered parliament for the first time with 3 deputies. He wears ordinary clothes and looks like a human being. Someone you might bump into in a bar and have a chat with.

It is the first time ever that there is now a genuinely anti-capitalist party in the Catalan Parliament.
This is a fact that has been completely ignored by mainstream media here and outside the region.

Thank you Brett and welcome to my blog! I agree – there have been hardly any comments about how amazing to have three CUP people in Parliament. I can’t imagine something similar in the UK as it is so hard for anyone original to get elected.
