Two friends from Penzance arrived in Barcelona for the weekend to celebrate their 7th anniversary. What a good opportunity to pop up to town once more for tapas. We went to La Bodegueta on Rambla Catalunya but don’t tell anyone as it’s hard enough to get a table as it is.
Here are the floor tiles – a little dirty but so beautiful that I didn’t notice until I saw the photo.
Congratulations John and Erwin and thanks for the tips on using the camera!
I always wondered what those black grids were for…..

Green things on a plate in the foreground? Details please?
Pimientos de padron. I still have to do the post on them – have photos ready and I don’t know why I haven’t written it yet. John and Erwin said you can get them in Lidls now! Easy to make – can’t go wrong( although the first time I mad them they were a disaster)
Kx
How lovely to have friends from Pz visiting. Tapas look inviting.
I thought I’d commented elsewhere to wish you bon voyage but can’t find it.
Lov e your daft Springer, Duna. What a sweetie.
oh I recognize this place and those exciting pimientos where you sometimes get a really hot one unexpectedly. Not in the photo but also so delicious: patates braves yumyum!
What a lovely day out we had in Barcelona last summer (even though you had to wait so long while I enjoyed Gaudí)
