one of the nice things about Duna is that she can be left outside a shop without fear that she will take someones hand off. Children can come up and pat her and she won't growl or jump. She might try to grab their biscuits though.
Lots of children here are scared of dogs…older ones too. I know its bad but sometimes we have fun scattering those crowds of teenagers that block the pavement. When scary Duna walks through their midst the girls scream and squash themselves up against the wall.

I’m practising sending posts via my mobile phone. One good thing is that it makes me write less – my finger pads get numb if I use the mobile keyboard too much. And another is that I can do it when I am away.
Wending our way to Cornwall soon so expect more photos of collies! Kx
How can anyone be scared of a Springer Spaniel?
They are the too stupid to bite and are far too easily distracted. There attention span is so short, they’d have forgotten what they were about to do before they had taken action!
She looks gorgeous as ever as does the site!
Me neither!

I’ve just discovered your blog. I know exactly what you mean about folk being scared of dogs, well big dogs anyway, as we have a Labrador and people steer well clear!
