Dear Kate, I came to your blog through the A-list blogger workshop, which I found useful indeed. I wish you every good luck with this new(ish) chapter in your life. I shall ‘pop’ in occasionally to see how you are doing. Good luck with the TWO new languages. I moved to Germany in 2008, and I am still trying to master one. (Like you, I found writing a blog, in English, a nice break for my head from all this new language learning.) Every happiness, Rosaleen
Hi Rosaleen and thank you for leaving me a message. I only did the first part of the A blogger but found it very useful and still check in on the twitter site for useful tips. I still feel like a beginner – I don’t really understand how people go from writing a blog just for a few friends to having hundereds of comments every day. but to be honest I like having the surprise of a few new people dropping by and writing to me. Then I can write back and look at their blogs if they have one. Can’t imagine how I’d do that with hundreds. The languages are feeling better – today at least! I feel I am changing to another level. I am far from fluent but at least I can understand more and speak the basics of Catala. But as you say, some english is necessary to stop yourself going round the bend with non expression syndrome. All the best to you Kate x
